This is often known as the "hot/crazy scale". There appears to be some sort of correlation between girls being hot and girls being crazy - obviously I'm not saying this holds true for all of them, but I have witnessed and heard about experiences where someone has known or gone out with a highly attractive girl, but they have something not right in the head and have done things like get the police involved and stealing from partners, and just generally being very paranoid and insecure.
Can anyone suggest any reasons why there might be a correlation between attractiveness and mental instability?
