why do people in relationships go to clubs?

so my girlfriend and i have been together for 3+ years. she likes to go to the club with her best friend. let me stop there and say, no im not jealous, or worried. i could go with, but i dont dance. i let her know she is always welcome to go, i honestly dont care. im asking because i dont understand. she tells me when her and her best friend go, they dance together and with no one else. when guys try to come over and dance with them, they tell the guy their together. so ill be honest ive never been to a club. there is music, people(strangers), and alcohol. so if you dont go for the people, you might go for the music right? well everyone has music, be it on phone or ipod,or radio, or my tv has lots of music channels. if they dance with each other exclusively, why cant they do it at home? they usually dont drink, or 1 does the other doesnt so they can drive back home, but they could stay home, both drink, and it be cheaper. plus it costs money to get there, cost money to get in. all of which at home are free. so can you help me understand because logically it doesnt add up to me, but im clearly missing something. i think i asked her before why they couldnt do it at home when she said they dont dance with others, but i cant remember her response. so ill ask again when she gets home tonight thanks
