A few weeks ago I (male) met a girl at a party, Katie, we really hit it off and got each others numbers etc, went on a few dates, it was obvious we were both interested in one another.
It was quite quick but only a short number of weeks after we decided to properly make it official and be together. We made this decision on the way to a night out with mutual friends, with drinking involved. I thought the night went alright but the next morning she texted me to say she wasn't ready to commit and wanted to get to know me more as she wasn't ready for a relationship. In the text conversation she was cold and made excuses as to not meet up, whereas in the past she'd been incredibly eager to meet. Now she won't even respond to my texts.
I need advice as to whether to pursue this girl- I really like her and she used to really like me. I don't know what I did on the night to upset her but neither do my friends who were there. Can people's feelings change suddenly like this, or is it temporary?
