Hi I have been married for 22 years and for the last 6 months our marriage has been stalled. My wife has told me she no longer wants to stay with me. She is tired of my ocassional anger outburst all verbal. My outbursts are very limited but she detests them and was ready to leave.
I talked her into staying with me and family and work on our marriage 4 month ago. We have only made it to two marriage counseling sessions and she continually cancels (very frustrating). I have worked hard on my anger issues one session with counselor and book suggestions. It is going very well.
She is very cautious with any intimacy and only will give me a quick kiss now and then only when I initiate. I am getting very frustrated and impatient with her lack of trying. When I talk with her about our marriage she is usually frustrates her and she says still needs more time to trust me.
I really want to get back with our marriage better than ever.
