short description: married since 2 years after 1 year of engagement, I'm from Spain she's from Russia, no kids.
We've met and lived in Hong Kong but I have been moved to mainland China since about 1 year.
I work making decent money, she's a student with a small scholarship.
Actual life is miserable. I get back home at about 8pm and in the weekends there's nothing interesting to do. Everything is at least 2-3 hours away.
My wife cannot stand it anymore and I agree. We came so far away from our homes not to live this miserable life.
Finance:
We got about 60 thousand dollars and I own an apartment in my home town, which is rented for a small amount (let's say about 4000USD per year after tax and expenses).
I make about 70k USD net per year at the moment, with all the benefits (house, flights, driver).
I work in a very niche sector... I am pretty much sure I cannot land a similar job. At all.
Well, I decided to quit my job. Am I crazy to jump into the darkness?
I don't think I can wait longer without hurting my relationship.
My wife is happy for the decision and says we will go throu these waters together... I know it will be much tougher than she thinks.
Any suggestion is really apreciated.
