As some of you probably remember from my other threads, my H is a rather uninvolved father and does not help with any of our son's expenses. On Mother's Day, he said Happy Mother's Day to me in the morning and I asked him if he thought I was a good mom. His reply - "Eh, you're ok I guess - you're as good of a mom as I am of a dad".
I opened my mouth to protest that statement, then realized how devilishly clever it was, I couldn't say a thing without saying that he was not a good father. So I kept my mouth shut. I know I'm a good mom, I do the best I can anyway and my son is happy so I don't really care what H thinks. But I'm just curious what you all think of what he said - how would you take that?
