Got her a Teddy Bear.

  • Thread Starter

A short while ago I went abroad to do some research for my degree. Anyhow, in one of the shops over there I came across a Teddy Bear (through pure luck rather than anything else) that looked exactly like a Teddy Bear one of my friends used to have when she was little and that she lost. So I bought the Teddy Bear and when I got back I gave it to my friend as a present. I was not expecting the reaction which was her thanking me and then hugging me for about ten minutes and refusing to let go, while other friends rather embarrassingly took photographs of the hug on their phones! What does concern me though is she keeps saying how 'she owes me' getting the Teddy Bear. I do not think she owes me at all. In fact getting her that Teddy Bear was the least I could do for her after she has been such a good friend to me over the years. What should I do to let her know that she does not owe me at all?
