My ex ended things 4 weeks ago , said he felt overwhelmed and needed space to think I'd become increasingly demanding and clingy and he'd been backing off as a result . Said he hoped maybe one day we could start again
I was devastated but got on with things best I could . I went for a few drinks with a guy I've known a while and my ex heard about it and well... Despite it being innocent he rang my best friend , his best mate to say how hurt he was and how cruel I was. He also messaged me to say he felt utterly betrayed and miserable because he hoped one day we could fix things ? He also misinterpreted a post on social media thinking it related to him and messaged me again to say I was tearing him apart .
I suggested meeting up to set the record straight .. We did and had a lovely time after covering the negatives ... He messaged me when I got home to say how nice it had been to catch up and he would be in touch ... Is this positive for a reconciliation or am I reading to much into it?
