i started seeing a guy i have known for a while. we were friends before and hung out together as such but it was obvious there was something there. most of the time we would hang out just the two of us and watch films or stuff like that. we finally got it together a couple of weeks ago when he kissed me (but nothing else happened). i am from the uk and he is from france. i heard that if you kiss someone in france, you are exclusive until you go with someone else. i didn't know how much truth there was to this but we have seen each other everyday and after a week he calls me his girlfriend. after 10 days he invited me to join him and his mum at a restaurant as she was in town anyway. he said it's not a big deal because that's just the french way but this seems to have gotten really serious really quickly. he tells me that i am amazing and says and does 'all the right things'. he has already introduced me to some of his friends and invited me over and made me food. i do like him a lot and so i am more concerned that his being so intense means he will also get bored quite quickly (as i have heard this is common in france too as dating culture doesn't really exist). does anyone have any experiences like this as its just so different to dating guys from the uk??
