FIRST AND FOREMOST This is not meant to incite. I'm looking for open discussion and opinions because I'm interested in them. So please don't bash me or others if you participate. If you can't do that, keep your ball and stay home... or at least out of this thread. Religious threads tend to get heated, debates may happen but let's try to keep it civil. TRY lol.
Under Christianity, Judaism, and Islam (and I'm sure other faiths), sex outside of marriage is a sin. But is it truly immoral for everyone?
Take for instance the people of the Zo'e tribe (initially discovered in the 1980s but thought missing since then and just rediscovered in 2011) living completely isolated, deep in the jungles of Brazil for hundreds of years. They're probably not Christian, Jewish, or Muslim (the pork eating, nudity, polygamy, and uncircumcised penises is a pretty good indication lol).
I think it's fair to say they're not married under any God (feel free to discuss that point if you disagree). They also can't be considered by most Western standards to be married under law, there's no registration, no licences and in fact, their marriages would be seen as bigamy in most countries. They're a polyandrous society with each woman having multiple "husbands" or partners.
Personally, I have a hard time trying to wrap my head around that idea that these people are probably going to hell because they're obviously unrepentant sinners by:

Personally, I have a hard time trying to wrap my head around that idea that these people are probably going to hell because they're obviously unrepentant sinners by:
A) Not accepting one "true" God into their hearts. Whether that God is the Holy Trinity, Judaism's God (not a Trinity) or Islam's Allah (also not a Trinity). (It's impossible to accept someone you've never heard of into your heart).
and,
B) Living a lifestyle in contradiction with religious laws, (though through no fault of their own, they are oblivious to them simply for having been born in the "wrong" place).Would you consider these people sinners/immoral and thus destined to hell at the end of times/or just the end of each of their respective lifetimes? Discuss.
Put the internet to work for you.
