I have a friend who's single, he's never really had many long-term relationships, they've only lasted either a few weeks, or up to a month at best. I live in Yorkshire, my friend's from Manchester, often go down to Manchester when I can, so see him a fair bit.
Mostly they've ended because of these circumstances:
- The individual moved elsewhere due to family reasons
- They got a new job elsewhere
- They lived too far away and he found the long distance hard.
- An addiction to Instagram! (well, that was how he ended his last relationship, the girl was too addicted to Instagram)
rather than any issues relating to jealousy/the opposite sex, or anything like that.
He's mainly dated "rock chicks" and girly girls, and that's the sort of personality he likes.
However, in terms of physical attraction, he is mainly attracted to reddish-haired (yes, that includes dyed bright red, not just ginger!) women, and also Spanish, Chinese or Indian - mainly Spanish or Indian, and even American women, and he says the attraction's not just superficial, it's genuine.
He told me he's starting to lose interest in the pub/club scene, said going the bar with friends for a drink is fine, but wants other ways to meet women, particularly those of the races/types mentioned above but isn't sure what sort of social things / where to meet them.
I would appreciate any help with this; it's a sensitive issue, but he asked me to post this on his behalf, as he said he didn't want to join here about this.
