Not divorcing yet, but things are not good. Frankly, if it wasn't for kids, house and business I would be out long time ago, but that's a different subject.
Has anyone done it? Divorce but was able to carry on wtih the business together? We are both professionals. He provides service to the clients at the offce. I have business degree, and manage it from home. The administrative side is extensive, I have an employee coming every day. It's a matter of time when I will have to find an office space and move everything there (happily, working from home is not that great, hard to separate work and life).
We have two locations, so even if I was to work at the same office, we wouldn't be every day at the same office. And even then our paths do not have to cross much. We have two kids together, so this way or another we will have to be in touch a lot.
business is good, but big part of it is because all the money stays in the house. If he had to pay someone from the outside for my work, it wouldn't be worth for him to keep the private office, better get employeed. It actually might be better for me, because I would get more stable hours, it would be just a job.
