Hi...I know there was a brief discussion re: passive behavior and wanted to run this one by everyone...
I usually get my H as part of his Xmas gift(s) an athletic shirt (he's big in to tennis and goes through them)...anyways, I purchased one and it wasn't the right size so when I exchanged it I left it on a hanger and put the hanger on the knob outside of our wardrobe.
This was on 12/26...
It's been there since
Yesterday, I mustered up the COURAGE to ask: "Is this your passive way of saying that you don't like this shirt and you don't want me buying any more for you?"
He looked at me and said: "I've been WAITING for you to ASK ME ABOUT WHY THIS WAS STILL HANGING THERE???"
I said, "...that's very PASSIVE of you...the burden shouldn't be on ME to ask YOU what YOU plan to do with the clothes I give you....YOU should be either a) putting them away or; b) tell me you don't like it.
Just thought I'd run this by you all...
