I've a member of match.com since 2008 and get a refund every 6 months. I go speed dating every month. I also volunteer every weekend. I occasionally got to meetup.com events. I work in IT so dont know any girls at work. Sometimes I go to sci-fi conventions and meet some nice girls there.
