It's a long one, so please bare with it. Will rep helpful replies!
So I've never really been interested in a relationship before, never asked a girl out before, never dated, etc, etc (I'm 21).
Anyway I 'fell' for this girl, agonised for a month or so whether I should ask her out or not, then I finally struck up the courage to ask her out.
She said yes, was keen and said what days she was free. I told her I'd text her in a few days to confirm.
I text her to say the time and where, but she took two days to reply. When she did, she said should we invite some other friends. I replied saying I wanted it to be just us. She never replied.
10 days later I see her (I assume it was a 'no' and I was moving on), when SHE, not me said should we hangout soon and apologised for not replying.
We went out that night, had a great time.
Saw her two days later and said we should do something else. However she said she was preparing for an important exam (which was 6 days later), but we should do something after.
The week later I texted her and asked if she wanted to go for drinks. She replied and said she was already going out, but that 'we should meet for drinks another time'.
I just feel strung along. If she doesn't like me, that's cool, but I don't understand why it has to be like this. It's been the longest 4 weeks of my life!
Maybe she still wants to meet up? I have no idea.
Either way, I feel it's time to let go and forget about her...but how do you do that?
I've gone back to not being interested in relationships, but still have feelings for her.
I think it would have been easier to let go of my feelings if she straight up told me 'no'.
