I moved to a new country, where DH works, after I got married and I would appreciate some tips on how to meet people and make some new friends.
My major challenge is that I have not yet learned the local dialect being used and most of the times people speak over my head, in their language, when I am in groups. A lot of people speak English but most prefer to speak their local language. Trying to learn the language but it's taking me time.
I work from home, so that kind of minimizes my chances of interacting with other people. I have been living here for 1 year and 6 months. Any tips??
