Friend has been getting emails?

Okay, so this is an odd one. My friend started to get emails from an email account, that were supposedly originally sent from her boyfriend. The emails discussed stuff about them as a couple, things that only they knew about and it was was though he sent this email out to his friends for advice on what to do about her, and one of those people sent her the email. It happened a few times, and she asked her boyfriend if he sent them which he denied. She blocked the email account that was sending her the emails. She's now been getting emails from someone, who has been getting the emails that her boyfriend has been sending out, questioning why she has been getting them. I can only presume her boyfriend made a typo when he typed out the email addresses. This person who has had the emails accidentally forwarded one of the emails her boyfriend had sent out to her. She forwarded me one of them, and the email talking about her is from her boyfriend's email account, no denying it, yet she doesn't seem to want to believe it. I text her before asking if she was okay, and she said that she wasn't, but she doesn't want to talk or think about it. Is she going to seriously ignore the fact that it's been her boyfriend sending out these emails, and he's plainly denying it, so that's enough for her?
