Going into the unknown

I'm in a friendship with this guy for almost a year. Sex is great. He is really into oral, on him, and there are times when I just pleasure him. He doesn't perform it on me, says it's not his thing and I understand and would normally not have an issue. But now he wants me to, I don't know any other way to say this, lick his ass, and be allll in it. I understand men not wanting to go down, I understand that there may be an ick factor there, but damn I'm having an issue with you want me to go down on you AND be all up in your ass but you don't want to go down on me?? I don't normally ask or expect oral sex unless the guy boasts about doing it or how well he does it, other than that I can take it or leave it. I'm also not one of those women who say if I do it then you have to as well. But I think if you expect me to go the extra mile than you got to do something as well. He says when he's been in love with women he has gone down, on occasion, somehow I don't believe him. I know he can be selfish and he admits to it. I'm clean, I don't smell, he and my past relationships are always telling me this so that's not this issue. I believe it has something to do with my weight. I don't know if I should say something, especially since he's going to want this on a regular basis. But I'm wondering if I say something it will cause an issue. And I have to say....This is totally not my thing, I think about it only to please him, I have been contiplating it for many months and have bought many types of plastic wrap (of course he would rather no wrap). Ya know it just occured to me, he knows about the wrap and yet he still won't go down on me :confused: Thoughts, opinions?
