Having a boyfriend and going backpacking..

Basically I'm going backpacking around South East Asia from Monday for 6 weeks with my best friend. We booked this trip months ago way before I got with my boyfriend. However, now i'm starting to think will having a boyfriend be a good idea? Last year I went to New York for the summer and 4 hours into the flight I made out with the man next to me.. I'm not a slut, far from it but I think that thing change when people are away. I'm going to the full moon party and i'm going to meet loads of people. I don't want to be there half heartily incase something might happen between me and another person. I will never ever cheat and i'll feel guilty just going for a walk with another man. I don't want to dump my boyfriend as he means so much to me; I don't think i'll be able to find another man like him. We've only been together for a few weeks but the idea of dumping him makes me really upset. It's like I want an 'Open relationship' but I don't think I can have one of those without ruining the current relationship. My friend who i'm going with is quite a free spirit so I know that i'll be spending a lot of time alone as she'll be getting with guys etc. Has anyone else been in a similar position? Any advice welcomed, thank-you! :)
