| I went around to my one of my girl mates house this morning, to get something I left there the other night, along with another mate. I have a bit of a crush on this girl mate, so I was keen to make a good impression. We were speaking at the door, but, somehow, my male and my girl mate got into a bit of an argument. I didn't really know what to do. He was laying into her quite a bit. I thought, if I said something, she'd think I'm a white knight, or tell me that she can stand up for herself. So I said nothing. After my male mate went away, my girl mate said 'thanks for sticking up for me'. I can't believe it. Why? Did I not do the right thing? | |||
