friends trying to set me up with guy i dont like

i have said i dont like him to them nearlty everytime now when we go out he turns up as hes a friend of theres they say hes really nice, he really likes you give him a chance! they were even meeting me at the park to hang out when i get there it was just him and a picnic blanket! im nice to him but definitely not flirty and dont give him too much eye contact either. I think he knows i dont like him unless my freinds are telling him different? he says something like can i have a hug and if when i say no hes like youv upset me! hes also like why diddnt u return that text i sent u ? cos my friend badgered me to tell him my phone number and he gave his to me when we first me and he sent me a text and is all why havent u replied that upsets me! i dont know what to do? i dont want to lead him on but i dont want to nasty either and if i said that i didnt like him to my face , what if my freinds stoped talking to me cos there closer to him and have known him longer what should i do
