| Been playing this one over in my head for a week or two now and I don't know what to do. There is a girl I've been friends with for 3 years at University; this year however we've been getting along quite well and I really enjoy spending time with her. I don't know if she feels the same way or whether she is just being a good friend. I feel we could work as more than friends... we have similar personalities, we're both pretty laid back and are constantly joking with each other and text fairly often too but there are a number of things stopping me from pursuing this. Mainly the fact she is leaving University this year in a few weeks and moving back home on the other side of the country. If I told her I liked her and she reciprocated the feelings then it'd be awesome for a week or two and then we wouldn't see each other for a long time because we both have pretty hectic summers planned... Also, I briefly dated her friend last year and I don't know if that would make things awkward? Me and her friend ended on good terms, we remain friends and she now has a new boyfriend. It's a complete non issue for me but she might feel like she is 'betraying' her friend. I don't know whether to just not tell her and try and 'get over her' because I won't be seeing her for a long time but I'm not sure if I'd regret that decision. I value her as a friend and would hate to end our time at university with things being really awkward between us and our friendship group... Anyone got any advice or been through something similar? | |||
