Quick note: Nothing between myself and this teacher is going to happen! And I understand how serious this could be etc
He wasn't meant to find out but my friends (idiots) thought it would be 'funny'. So he's around 23 Years of age and I myself am in year 11. He doesn't teach me however his classroom is next door and I do go to his classes after school.
As soon as my friends turned my face to him and said 'You know you like him, look at him' he immediately looked away. (He never even noticed me before this)
Anyway later on during the same lesson, he walked past again and while he did, he looked at me straight in the eye for a good few seconds with a grumpy face before looking away. I could actually feel how annoyed he must have been.
The next time I saw him after that day was when I had to go past his class with a few class members. He was in the middle of talking and I could see him turning to look at us and then keep his eyes on me until I was out of sight (I could see this from the corner of my eyes).
This became a regular thing and I still had to attend his sessions because I had to act like everything was still normal. When I entered he just saw me and looked down (same grumpy face lol)
My friend began to ask him to give me a new clay canvass and he came up to us and asked what's wrong (my friend did all the talking since things were awkward between myself and him) and he asked her why I needed a new one and she answered 'just' and so he looked at me and asked the same question 'What's wrong with it?' (He believed there was nothing wrong with it and it is still ok to use) and I responded with 'There's nothing wrong with it' since I personally thought my friend was being ridiculous. However he started to laugh with me and said 'Exactly, she's just going on and on!'
Later on I asked him for more clay so he got up and gave me some new clay as any teacher would. After that lesson when me and my friend decided to call it a day, he turned around and said 'Bye! Thanks for coming again' and looked at both of us, however when he looked at me he smiled the most warmest smile I've ever seen. I know it was real as he had some crows feet going on at the end of his eyes. So when I responded with a bye and was too shy to smile back ,he then called out bye once more before I left.
I saw him again about 30 minutes later in my mums car (she popped out to the shop) he was walking home and I was playing on my phone so I didn't see him before. Just as soon as I looked up I saw him turn around looking directly towards my car and at me through the window screen (he must have saw the car first before recognising me) and I looked away nervously and he just turned away again and carried on walking.
I have also caught him stare at me through a reflective window that I was facing whilst I had my back turned towards him, so he thought I couldn't see. And I mean he was full on staring, until he remembered the window and when he saw me staring at him, he looked away really quickly.
Another time was when he was speaking to another member of staff and I stopped to look behind him in case I could quickly tip toe across since it was a short cut to a class (however we are not allowed to take that root). He saw me stop and when I did he just stopped talking to the other woman (member of staff) and just stopped to look at me (maybe he thought I needed to speak to him) however he was literally in the middle of a convo and he just... Stopped. She noticed his attention went off completely so she turned to look and saw me standing there now staring back at him #awkward.
He he carried on staring at me and she was stood their looking confused looking at him then me and then back again. Until I decided to take the long root after all and walked another way.
After this, I've noticed this woman staring at me. And I know she is suspicious now because she was even staring when I was walking home with my friends and she was on a car at the back seat. She was really staring and I even said to my friends 'What is she staring at?'
This teacher has started to tease me a little as well (my crush) and it's probably not in a flirtatious way. He just laughs at me if I do something stupid like when I entered the room for his after school sessions and he turned and said 'Hi girls!'
To myself and my friend and I responded with a hi. Then he asked if I was staying and since I just came back from an exam so I was a little headed and I hadn't actually thought if I was staying or not yet (cuz I only planned to collect the art book but I was still uncertain) so I just hesitated a little and said 'Ummm... Yeah' He burst out laughing and said 'Why are you thinking about it for?' So I grumply responded 'What?' Since I was knackered, and he was like 'Well it's a simple question isn't it? You just say yes or no' he was still laughing and he realised I was actually grumpy he stopped.
So recently we had a mock exam and I'm not lying when I say he has been staring at me again, and then looking away like it was nothing. I've caught him at least three times looking directly at me and then turning away as soon as I notice.
One of which was a side stare to make it less obvious.
Also so I was outside the staff room one time knocking on the door and from behind someone asked 'Who are you looking for?' It was that woman again. I was looking for my Englush teacher so I asked her where she was and she said how she's 'Not in today' while we were still talking, the teacher I like appears and walks past to get into the staff room. I was next to the door that leads to the staff room so when he reached the door he stopped and took a glance at me because I began to laugh a little at something and he could hear me from under my breathe. After about a second of taking a look at my face he looked back at the door handle and opened it to make his way into the staff room.
Im finally done, let me know what you think is up with him. I forgot to add that I saw him another time in the car when My mum was driving past and noticed our car and then looked away in case I see him, then looked back again after turning around until to see us go.
I'm just trying to figure him out. Overall he's a very professional teacher.
Put the internet to work for you.
