This whole thing is such a mess.
I've known a guy who lives in America for seven years. I'm obviously English. We've gone from being teenagers to adults and with that our love for each other has grown so strong but we can't be together.
We have always had the attitude that somehow one day we'll be together even though we have had other relationships but he has recently told me that it can't happen due to our lives becoming more and more complex and I'm heart broken.
I know we are meant to be but it's just the distance that keeps us apart.
I want to go and see him in the summer even though he has said it can't work but I'll regret it for a long time if I don't go and see him... I'm not sure. I've asked him but do you think I should? He says he wants to stay in contact with me and that he still loves me but our relationship isn't healthy because of the distance. It's all so confusing and I don't know what to make of it :(.
