I'm an 18 year old female and friends by default with a guy who is the same age. We are only friends because we have friends in common, nearly all of them have gone to uni now as they are a year older than us.
He makes horrible remarks about me which make me upset, yet still wants to hang around with me even though I show no signs of wanting to be friends anymore. I am currently trying to ignore him because his presence alone is now enough to aggravate me. He sits right next to me wherever we are, giving me no personal space.
I don't want to be friends with someone that brings me down, how on earth do I avoid him when he follows me around like a little puppy, because he hasn't made any other friends. My friends at uni brush it off by saying that maybe he's trying to care but doesn't know how, but surely if he cared he would actually be nice and considerate to me??
Any ideas on what on earth is going through his mind?
