I have a good health insurance plan through my job, and have a family plan. It's the best one of the 4 choices offered at the company I work for.
I don't know a lot of terminology or much about insurance, but it's 90/10 PPO, $500 single deductible, $1000 max deductible per family. $20 copay for dr, $35 for specialist, $200 ER.
Beginning this month, I will pay nearly $1400./mth for the plan.
Is it really worth it? Is this because of health care "reform" that it's gone up so much?
How much do you pay? It seems to be that the "family plan" is what makes it high. Does anyone else pay this much??
