As hard as it is for me to say, I am coming close to divorce. Maybe someone here has been in a similar situation and can shed some light on this for me.
My H is very insecure, jealous, possessive, etc. At the same time, he is very loving, caring, hardworking, has a big heart, etc.
At times, he gets very angry and has outbursts. He will yell, use profanity, throw things, slam doors, and sometimes leave, spinning out of the driveway, then come right back and yell some more. The next day, he will apologize and tell me how much he loves me and promise it will never happen again. We have had problems in the past and he says he has a lot of emotions due to that and it just builds up and causes him to act this way. He assures me that he is very much in love with me and will do anything to prove that and anything to make me happy. (he does try to do anything he can to make me happy...during the good times)
I believe he is really sincere with his apology and I know without a doubt that he loves me, but will this ever end or am I just kidding myself? Is he just an emotionally abusive person who will continue with this behavior?
