Just joined a few mins ago. Want some opinions.

And before I go on, yeah, I read the sticky about "is she into me?" threads. This is not one of those. Okay, I'm a senior in high school, and will be graduating in 3 weeks (hopefully. Math isn't going so well.) Last semester I was talking to a girl who I became pretty good friends with. I asked her out, she said no, gave me her reasoning and I left it at that. This semester we had no classes, and being a little upset for the most part in the week following the decline, I made no further effort to speak to her. This semester, I only ever see her in the hallway in between classes. sometimes we make eye contact and smile/ wave, yada yada. However, this past Thursday was a bit of a special case, and all I'm trying to figure out is if this should even be on my mind. (fyi, I'm not that great at talking to girls.) Anyways, I'm hanging out with a friend of mine and after leaving Taco Mac because it was packed, we decide to go to Moe's. Several people from my school were there, so I was all like "oh, okay cool." I stand in the back of the line, behind this girl I knew, and just start talking, all while looking down at her a** (she was wearing softball pants. You can imagine.) I look up ahead, and sure enough I see her, the girl I was talking about. Same deal, smile and say hi. Anyways, we sit down at the only empty booth which just happened to be across from the table she and her family sat at. So I'm sitting there mowing down a homewrecker, and suddenly my friend goes "dude, she's eyeballing you." I take notice, several times, I'll look at her and she'll look away. So I'm just like "hmm, okay." I bit later we head back to my house and I call another friend over. After friend A leaves, friend B here texts her, and she tells him first thing "Guess who I saw at Moe's?" she says me, of course, with somewhere in the family of ten exclamation points. He tells her he's with me, and she tells him to tell ME she says hey. So I thought this was it, and I just told him to say hey back, but then she throws out another text, saying "and tell him he looked good tonight. :)" I'm like woah. hold up now. Kinda took me by surprise, but I've really only taken it as a simple compliment. Granted I have been losing weight and my beard just gets sexier and sexier by the day, but y'know. As for my question, should I even bother trying to start anything with her again? She was talking to this guy who is a huge faggot, and then sh*t just went downhill. and she's not leaving state for college. So yeah, yes or no?
