| My good friend (we are both guys) has been feeling down really since his girlfriend broke up with him unexpectedly, and has been doubting how attractive he is. We took him for a night out to make him feel better, and met up with some old school friends. My friend went home with a girl a few weeks ago, and on this night, he was talking with a girl he has kissed a few times in the past when they were drunk. Another girl told us that this girl recently became single, and was just looking for some kind of fun. I know that our friend actually liked another girl, and while he has always found this girl he kissed attractive, he has never seemed to have feelings for her as such. I asked him if he would go on a date with her, and he said yes if she initiated it herself, to prove she did want something else. I offered to talk to her, to see what her intentions were and if she would ask him on a date or something, but he told me not to. All night they were kissing, and then he agreed to go home with her. I asked if he was ok, and he said yeah. I know my friend did not have feelings for her, but now they have slept together, maybe things have changed. I asked if he planned to take it any further (the next day) and he said he will see what happens, and will wait for her to do something. I said to her that maybe she did not know if he wanted more, and maybe he should talk to her about it, but he did not seem like he wanted to, and wanted her to make the effort. However, it is just because she was saying she was looking for fun, since her last relationship. I thought maybe she was just drunk, and she would want more than that with my friend, but now I am worried my friend has been used. Maybe I am over-reacting, and maybe he saw himself that she might have been only after that (inviting him home) but I feel like we should have told him maybe what she said. Should I talk to him about this, or is there no real problem? | |||
