Hello all. So I have been wanting to propose to my girlfriend for quite awhile now. She is now 9 weeks pregnant. Her family is catholic and I have decided to ask her father for his daughters hand. Unfortunately, her father is still in the ICU and the doctors are transferring him into a long term care facility as he may not wake up for awhile longer. He's been in a coma for exactly one month now.
I know that my girlfriend is getting impatient and wants me to propose. I finally saved up enough money for a modest ring. Should I just go for it and propose? Should I wait? I want to marry her before the baby is born.
