Angry at my bestfriend

  • Thread Starter

Hi this is a bit of a complicated one so please bear with me.
So my best friend decided three days after results day not to go to uni. Which was actually the completely right choice for her. At first everything was great, we skyped all the time and texted and stuff. Then she came down to stay with me which was also a lot of fun. On the last day of her staying with me she went to visit my male best friend for a while (they weren't really close so it surprised me) and consequently they've started dating, which i have no problem with. The problem lies in the fact that because they're dating they've both become really self involved, my male friend hasn't spoken to me in around a month. Whenever I do manage to see my best friend all she talks about is him and she's been up in my uni town (He lives there too) nearly every week to see him. I realise this is natural in a new couple. The reason I am angry is that I have been completely sidelined by my two closest friends who are meant to be there for me, I had a rough week last week and when my best friend messaged me all it read was 'I can't meet up on Sunday anymore because I am seeing my boyfriend' when I told her I was upset she thought I was being unreasonable and turned it round so she was in the clear. I'm fed up of her acting like this every time she has a boyfriend, but I don't want to throw away eight years of friendship. How do I tell her I'm angry at her without causing a row?
