Carrying your own emotional bag(gae)

I need some tips!

In my mostly wonderful and awesome relationship with the BF, I find that sometimes I revert back to the old me. The one who depends WAAAAAY too much on my partner to carry my emotional state.

I realize it when it's happening and try very hard to take it back. Sometimes it works right away, sometimes it takes a while for me to get back on track.

What are some things that you tell yourself or do to make sure that you are not leaning too heavliy on your partner emotionally?
