I have been dating this lad for four years now and know about two times he has cheated on me with the same girl, less then a year apart. I brushed it aside and thought well if he didn't want to be with me he'd had left me and gone out with this girl... nearly a year back now I heard he was going out with all his mates and the same girl was there, so I broke up with him and didn't talk to him for 5 months (he kept trying to contact me). Not like most girls, I decided to start speaking to this girl because I thought well if it wasn't her it would have been someone else right? I tried to get to know her before I judge her. She confirmed everything that he said that it was only two times and they had seen each other or spoke in between but nothing happened. I finally gave into him and started seeing him again, he seems like a completely different person not like a immature child anymore but I've been fooled more than once. When I asked him why did he do this to me he just simply said it was because he was stupid and immature and didn't know better. Can that really be an excuse or a reason to cheat? Why is it that people cheat?
