Last night i had a mini panic attack thinking that i'll be alone for the rest of my life. I'm nearly 21, a virgin, and i want to have a relationship (or at least make friends) over the summer holidays.
The problem is i can't go out anywhere, like clubs etc, as i don't have many friends (bad school experience and half of my friends have changed since uni and we're no longer in touch) and the ones i have are nerds who prefer watching LoTR to going out. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, we just never meet new people...
So, without clubs or societies, is there a good simple way of meeting people? I'm shy so i couldn't just walk up to strangers and start a conversation. I'm going to be stuck in the house or summer and i just want to make the most of it. Thanks
