So I was just talking to my mum about having kids when I'm older, and she was confused because I'm gay. I said I would want to adopt kids, but she told me that pretty much all kids up for adoption are there because they've been abused by their parents, and it's virtually impossible to get "normal" kids.
Is this really true? I know it's easier in America to arrange it, but is it really impossible to adopt regular kids here in England? I guess I can go for surrogacy or something but I would prefer adoption ideally. Not that it matters right now, but I'm intrigued. :)
