I've been with my girl for about 2 years, of which 1 year has been long distance.
During this LDR relationship I have started feeling more and more of her like a friend. I love spending weekends with her, doing activities with her etc. But I don't feel there is any romantical side to our relationship anymore.
Although we get on very well and have a fun time, I don't like to kiss or cuddle too much and I don't enjoy sex either. Long hugs and stuff are OK and some touching including massages for each other etc - but that stuff is something you would do even with friends of the same sex.
When I talk to my friends they always say "dump her" but don't understand that I don't want to limit my time with her, as said we have fun together.
Would it be possible to turn an intimate relationship into a friendship gradually? I think she still wants me a lot though and I can't respond to all her loving.
