Snogged my friend when we were drunk .... :/

So long story long, I used to fancy this guy at secondary school, but he wasn't really interested in me in that way. Since then, we've actually become quite close friends in our last year at school, and we ended up going to the same sixth form. We've both had relationships with other people, but they dumped us both in horrible ways. We've remained very good friends since then, cos we both knew how it felt to be in relationships that had ended disastrously. In the past few months, we've had some flirty conversations, but nothing to suggest that he actually liked me. Then this past Saturday was our annual sixth form party. He (my friend) got a bit squiffy on beer whilst I got a bit squiffy on vodka and red bull (tasty alcoholic drink :p ) although as far as I could tell, neither of us were especially wasted. We were flirting with each other as we were prone to do these days, but when we got the coach home he insisted on sitting next to me, and then kissed me. The coach journey consisted of us having a good snog, but at the same time there was a lot of cuddling and nice conversation between us. He invited me to a club with him and some friends on Thursday and I quite happily said yes. We ended the night by kissing at the coach stop before he went off with some of his mates, and that was that. Day afterwards, I messaged him about Thursday, but he hasn't replied for a couple of days now. I have no idea how he feels about the whole thing, but I'm also not sure if he remembers anything! Any advice? I don't want to ruin this friendship that we've built over the past years, just because we got a tad too friendly with each other :S ....
