Not looking for commitment anymore - want something casual.

I dated this female friend for a while, but she didn't want anything serious. Things fizzled out and contact lost. We go to different Unis so only meet up now and then with other mutual friends. We still get on and everything, but I think there's that underlying awkwardness because I think she thinks I want something she doesn't want to give - commitment.

My position has since changed. Since then I have been involved with other girls but only casually. My plans in life have changed, considering I have graduated and have a business plan that I am pursuing, I don't want commitment at this time. Coming to this conclusion, it makes sense. For once I am totally comfortable with my position on relationships. I think I got the idea of a proper relationship in my head because it's not something I've had for a while and there was that desire to 'settle down'. But of course that goes against any plans of mine, which I realise now take the priority. I was never really that hung up on it anyway, but when things go unsaid, people will read all sorts into it.

So this girl... One thing has remained constant from the beginning is the fact that I still fancy the pants off of her. She's back home for a couple of months next week. How would I best go about telling her and reassuring where I am in life. I think she'd be receptive to something a little casual over the summer.
