| Hey, I'd like to get some opinions on the enigma that is this girl. I have decided to move on, but it'd be interesting to know what I did wrong. I'm 24 and she is two years my minor. Anyway, I met this girl at a dancing club through a mutual friend. We hit it off right away and danced exclusively most of the night. We talked, joked, exchanged numbers, and flirted through texts as the evening went on. At the of the night, I gave her a ride home. She told me she had an amazing time, and we hugged and kissed romantically (physical attraction was present). We went on a date the next day, and even though I was exhausted and not so chatty, she admitted to having a good time. We went for ice cream and a movie. We talked about family, future plans, college life, and we seemed to agree on most topics. We kissed again, and hugged before she got out of my car. She even texted me that same night telling me she had great fun, and hoped I did too. Since that date, we had casually texted each other every other day. Sometimes she would initiate communication. I even called her, and she answered, but had to hang up due to errand running. She later texted me apologizing for that incident. I wanted to hang out last Thursday, but she told me she had some errand with her mom so it had to be before 5pm. She even suggested we can meet in the evening. I just told her to let me know if she had time. She did not text me, but I didn't give it much thought. Then, two days later I texted her with a witty comment, but no response from her. I waited two more days, and I called and left a message. No response yet. I have practically give up on her, but there is still some wishful thinking on my part since she had GF potential: She may be sick, or some family problems have kept her busy. She did say she was going to travel out of town sometime this summer. Anyway, what is your opinion? does being nice not pay? | |||
