So today is our 23rd wedding anniversary ....

and nothing, nada, zip, zilch from my husband. He forgot, ....again. He got up this morning at 6am and went to work, didn't wake me up. I don't even know what to do at this point. I haven't said anything. I have a card for him but I don't even want to give it to him. Every year I save his butt by bringing it up first or the kids might say something because it's on the calendar. One year he actually thought our anniversary was on the 29th. It always takes him by surprise so nothing is ever planned in advance and I get a, "What do you want to do?" Considering I have to plan our date nights if I want to go out, it irritates me that he can't have any forethought when it comes to our anniversary. I don't know why this is bugging me so much this year, I've been on the brink of tears all day. One moment, I'm "You're a 48 year old woman, get over it. You married a man that's bad with important dates, let it go". The next moment I'm, "Why can't a 48 year old man use the stupid calendar app on his iPhone. He if has time to play his stupid games on it, he has time to plug in a few dates." Like I said, I don't know what to do at this point. Say something or wait it out, see if it gets into May and then he realizes, "oops". We are a pretty straight forward couple, no passive aggressiveness or playing games, this why I hate not saying anything but man, he needs to figure out why he can't remember this date.
