| Not sure where to put this, so I will put it here. It has been a while since I have posted anything because my wife had surgery. It was supposed to be a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy. When the Dr. got to the left side the ureter was encased in endometrial scarring. In trying to remove it he cut the ureter so she had to be opened up and a urologist called to repair it. A 2 hour surgery turned into 5 hours. She has a stent in the ureter which will be removed in about 3 weeks. She is 4 weeks post op at this point and still having major discomfort. All of this sure makes you reevaluate your priorities. Because of her pain, which got her to the Dr. in the first place and the surgery, we have not had sex in 7 weeks. We both miss it and the closeness, but it is amazing how it really does not bother me...and I am HD! I am so much more concerned about her getting back her health and I love her now more than ever. | |||
