Who is in a sexless marriage like me?????

Are you male or female? How long have you been sexless ( sex every few months or longer)? How & why do you stay & cope? and finally, have you ever cheated?? I'm a 48 yr old male, my wife is 45, married for nearly 17 yrs and "sexless" for the past 3. Only obligation or guilt sex with no passion every few months and as long as 3-4 months. Our sex life was "boiling" for the first 5 years, "simmering" for the next 5 years and now barely existent. I've stopped entirely this year due to lack of fulfillment, my wife doesn't really notice my lack of trying. Not sure what happened, talking about it only leads to "guilt sex" which I'm not into so I've just accepted it for what it is. Sex has become a taboo to her? I've thought about divorce but we get a long on every other field but that one, so I've taken the good with the bad. I've never felt the need to cheat, at least with me, my sex drive is tied to my emotions so another sex outlet serves no benefit, plus my morals and Christian beliefs prevent me anyway. It sucks, but I've gotten good at adapting to less than perfect situations so I'm fine with it. I consider it being honorable & noble instead of stupid or a martyr, but opinions vary.
