Mixed signals??

Hi guys! So I have been seeing this guy since around the start of the year, we haven't had sex yet but have done other stuff. He would take me on dates and we were getting to know each other and I think I have gotten attached and have feelings for him. Which is not usual as I hate getting attached to guys due to fear of being let down. He made it clear that he really liked me but we didnt want anything serious. He said last week after a date that we should have a nice night in, so I text him yesterday asking if he still wanted me to come over and when? asked how he was. his reply: Hey, I'm good. Em not sure, have to see. X Now due to how he usually texts me this was very short and unusual my reply: hmm ok, have to see if you want to or when you are free? If you want to do something else thats cool or if youd rather not at all just let me know x he didn't text me back so I text him this morning asking if everything was ok and I was a bit confused. :( I have no clue what's going on here and I just want to know but he hasn't text me back... I'm not sure what to do as I really like this guy and I don't want to be let down by him. We were getting on realllyyyy well.. I don't know what has changed in a few days.. Maybe I'm over reacting and overthinking it, but I don't think I am. Any advice ?? x
