I'm 20, he's 28. We'd been friends for a year or so before and recently started dating. He's a genuine guy, really kind, gentle and loving and the age gap doesn't matter to me.
I feel things are starting to get more meaningful, possibly heading towards a relationship, so I figured I should probably mention him to my parents. I just KNOW they're going to ask how old he is. They're reasonably open-minded people but I just don't know how they'll feel about their twenty-year-old dating a man who will be thirty in eighteen months time... How should I handle this? Anyone got any similar experiences?
