He is one of my friends and my ex bf best friend. I've said it would be weird if we dated before(came up in while texting and paying would you rather) and he said to me he has a crush (but not one who).
But there are loads of signs:
He nearly always walks home with me (he lives in the opposite direction)
He text me every day
He keeps flirting by looking at me, talking to me rather than his friends, faces me, makes jokes.
He keeps offering to help me with maths and science
He often compliments me
(We have loads in common)
