It seems there is a similarity in the amount women complaining about commitment vs. men complaining about women having sex or 'not putting out' as much as I despise that phrase. Lots of women (NOT ALL) have moaned time and time again about where all the good men are in the world, and why guys are such *******s for only wanting sex and are not 'real men' for not wanting to commit.
But wait a minute, isn't pressuring or insulting guys who aren't ready or who want to play the field just as bad as trying to shame people for how much sex they have and who with, be it virgin or slut-shaming? Slut-shaming or virgin-shaming is undoubtedly seen in society, but at least we more or less condemn it and are very aware of the double standard women face. It seems however, that women themselves fail to notice that they are doing the EXACT SAME THING, by shaming guys who don't want to commit.
The truth is, in both circumstances, girls can choose to sleep around if they want or refuse sex if they want, and guys can play the field if they want, because it doesn't hurt anyone else. Why either gender gets so bitter about people doing this is beyond me.
