I met this girl last year and we started talking, we weren't friends, just acquaintances as she was nice enough. Anyway, this semester we saw each other quite a lot because we are in most seminars together. I introduced her to a few of my friends a month ago and they thought she was nice too. Last week we had a social and she asked me if I was going and I said no. She then texted my friend (the one I introduced her to last month) asking to go to the social, without telling me about it. My friend told me about it and convinced me to go. I told the girl I was going now and she seemed really surprised that I was going. Today, another friend of mine I introduced her to texted me saying the girl had asked to join her and her flat mates on a night out. My friend asked me to join because she doesn't know the girl that well. I said to my friend that this bothered me because I'd had a conversation with the girl and she hadn't even replied to my message yet she was talking to my friend. My friend then said she asked the girl if I was planning on going too and the girl said no. She hadn't even spoken to me about it, so he lied. I just think it's a bit sneaky and I don't get it. I'm not sure if I can trust her now. I just need a bit of advice.
