| Hey ladies, The other thread about "eyeballing" got me thinking. I remember x2 telling me about doing this with men. If I remember correctly, a girlfriend between marriages said she did something similar. I'm just wondering how common it is and what your opinions are about it? x2 told me she would go to the beach and sit under an umbrella with a book and a cold drink. She said she made certain to take her sunglasses with her and some really good binoculars. LOL She said she would check out the men with these binoculars. Now, I think she did this while single, but I don't know for sure. She specifically said she looked at their "packages". LOL I didn't think much about it at the time. I did tell her, "What's good for the goose is good for the gander." I said, "I'll have to get my own sunglasses and binoculars and check out the ladies." Haha Is there something wrong with doing this whether single or in a committed relationship? Is this "ogling"? What do you think? I know each woman will have her own opinion. I'd love to read it. Thanks. :) Some definitions for "ogling". I sort of look at ogling as in the more intense staring that comes with really checking someone out and even considering options. From Merriam-Webster: 1ogle verb \ˈō-gəl also ˈä-\ ogledogling Definition of OGLE intransitive verb : to glance with amorous invitation or challenge transitive verb 1 : to eye amorously or provocatively 2 : to look at especially with greedy or interested attention — ogler noun See ogle defined for English-language learners » See ogle defined for kids » Examples of OGLE He sat at the bar, ogling several women. He ogled the new cars on the lot. I was ogling the dessert menu before my meal even arrived. From The Free Online Dictionary: o·gle (gl, ôgl) v. o·gled, o·gling, o·gles v.tr. 1. To stare at. 2. To stare at impertinently, flirtatiously, or amorously. v.intr. To stare in an impertinent, flirtatious, or amorous manner. n. An impertinent, flirtatious, or amorous stare. From Google: ogling present participle of o·gle Verb Stare at in a lecherous manner: "he was ogling her breasts"; "men who had turned up to ogle". | |||
