I don't get it!

I don't understand why this fella suggests meeting up then all of a sudden he has a bad memory and I have to remind him. most of the other times he's been the one confirming the details before we meet up. He's even said " I never forget anything". Now he supposedly has a bad memory and even forgot his sisters birthday and they live together. Hmm, I even asked if he still liked me and he said yeah, we need to get to know each other which put me at ease but yet he's acting different. We uses to speak everyday and now I kinda feel like he's seeing someone else maybe. If that was the case why won't he tell me this? Why would he be acting this way?
