| The situation is this: I am 19, live with parents and my younger siblings who are 15, 11, 8, 6 We are suffering emotional abuse at the hand of our father. There isn't any physical abuse as of yet but you never now. Abuse at the moment ranges from stopping us from living our lives, gaining financial control, keeping the entire family so scared that we are even scared to move from our seats. My mum can't speak much English and he has also secluded her by not allowing her to learn. So basically I want to know, if we all walked out and took our important belonging and went down to the council to ask for a place to live until we could get our own place, would they turn us away? | |||
